Diara was born to be a storyteller
Something Good…
Something Good… is an animated rendition of a Black woman’s escape from reality.
Written in response to the social exhaustion Black women shared online following the 2024 presidential election, this story is inspired by common and recurring frustrations of Black existence. In this alternate reality where only Black women exist, Something Good… engages the idea of a different and better world. Amongst ourselves can perfection be realized?
